Volunteer Operations in Lviv and beyond
There are a great number of fantastic causes in Lviv and throughout Ukraine you can donate to. The below are just a handful that I have either worked with, or supported myself.
Lviv Volunteer Kitchen
Lviv Volunteer Kitchen (Львівська Волонтерська кухня) is one of the longest serving volunteer projects in Lviv, having supported the Ukrainian Army since 2014 with dehydrated meal packages. Their operations are constantly expanding, and in need of support.
Victory Drones
With the changing face of war, drone combat has become a vital aspect of modern combat. Victory drones do amazing work supporting the drone effort for ZSU and civilian helpers alike. Donations support them in training Ukrainian troops, civilian instructors, and helping set up decentralised drone production.
Brave to Rebuild
Brave to Rebuild is a charitable foundation and community of volunteers that has, since May 2022, been restoring housing, schools, hospitals, and other social and cultural institutions affected by the russian invasion.
Domivka Animal Shelter
Domivka Animal Shelter is the main shelter in Lviv, providing shelter and care to hundreds of animals. They also support rescue operations of animals stranded near the frontline.
Lev Animal Shelter and Hospital
Less popularly known than Lviv’s Domivka Shelter, Lev is an worthwhile cause to support. They help stray animals, and those rescued from the frontline.
